Ah I feel like I haven't posted in FOREVER. It's Spring "Break" at school. Which is laughable because really it just means that I'm working 12 hours a day straight because I go straight from the opera to babysitting. Plus last weekend was non-stop opera and babysitting and other odd jobs. So I'm not getting the schoolwork done that I was hoping to do. So frustrating. I just have to keep reminding myself that in 2 months I'll be moving all of my things into a Brooklyn apt and leaving all of this unnecessary stress behind me. word.

So yeah sorry for being such a lame-o when it comes to comments and posting. Things will def improve after this week is over (or will hopefully improve I guess...) I do have a lot of work coming up. Here's what I need to get done in the next week or so.

--Finish my internship journal and send it out
--Send out my resume to 10 different NYC companies
--Read for and Prep my seminar presentation (on the 25th)
--Start my seminar paper (once I figure out what it's going to be on... ugh)

So that doesn't seem like a lot, but all of that on top of what I need to do day to day might kill me before all is said and done.

On happier news, I'm pumped about March Madness. Go 'Cuse!

Ugh. That is a lot to do. I hope you're able to find some time to rest soon.

Thanks, me too. I suppose that if I had no friends or desire for any kind of life, it would be fine haha. I just have to work on being more productive while babysitting so that I have less homework to do afterward. Because Soph's 9, so she really requires very little supervision overall. And I could be doing work while she does homework, or while she's in karate.

Well there you go. I remember being little and doing my homework with my babysitters. I always thought it was kind of cool. Then again, I was a bit of a nerd. ;p

And when I babysat during school (I rarely babysit now that I have a full-time job, part-time job, and no freetime), I did my homework with the school-aged kids, or after the kids had gone to bed.

haha yeah I guess now that the secret's out I won't really be able to complain about work anymore, huh?

But it's way easier to lose myself in photoshop, checking my facebook or reading my friends' page than to sit there and write papers... :-/

What's your major?

I miss the good old days when Spring Break actually meant something.

Good luck with everything!

Spring Break hasn't meant anything to me since Freshman year. My major is in Communications, but I'm hoping to turn that into a career in some sort of arts administration, like marketing or pr. I'm thinking of going back for my MBA eventually and working as a producer but that's way down the line.

Thanks for the well wishes! I'll need them!

Yeah, man. Especially when you have two months to graduation and all you want to do is have a freaking career already!

Goodluck with the things you need to get done! =] What's March Madness?

March Madness is the term they use for all of the college basketball tournaments in March, especially the big 64-team tournament that starts in a week or so. I live in a college-town so since I was a kid, watching the games has been a yearly tradition. Sometimes they don't get into the tournament, but my team is in this year so it's kind of exciting (especially since I've actually met all of the players while I worked at a deli right down the street from where they practice).

Wow, that's a lot of stuff, but you can do it. : )

Spring break is like an empty promise, now. All my teachers are giving homework and online tests during. Now, I can't go to that secluded island, darn it. Grrr!
